Job Title: Part-Time Office Assistant

Location: Salem, VA

Position Overview: We are seeking a friendly and organized Part-Time Receptionist to join our massage therapy clinic. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for clients, providing excellent customer service and administrative and logistical support to ensure a smooth operation.

​

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients warmly upon arrival and assist them with intake procedures.

  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, appointments, and pricing.

  • Schedule and confirm appointments, managing the clinic’s calendar effectively.

  • Process payments and handle basic billing inquiries.

  • Assist with marketing efforts, including social media updates and promotional materials.

  • Keep the reception area tidy and organized.

  • Collaborate with massage therapists to ensure seamless client experience.

  • Turn over and clean rooms between clients.

  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration are a plus.

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare or wellness setting.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficient in using computers and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, scheduling software).

  • Availability to work 9-5 Tuesdays and Thursdays.
